Künkel-Wagner are expanding their product range
Alfeld, Germany, 28. Jan. 2013
As of 01 Jan. 2013 Künkel-Wagner Prozesstechnologie GmbH in Alfeld, Germany have taken over SM-Stahl GmbH as well as BES GmbH, both situated in Dürbheim, Baden-Wuerttemberg province, Germany.
With these two acquisitions Künkel-Wagner as the global leaders in the field of foundry equipment and moulding plants are expanding their activities to the field of finishing of cast and aluminum parts. Usually, fettling, grinding and polishing are still performed manually. In the future, Künkel-Wagner will be able to offer their customers automated solutions for the finishing department ensuring a product quality ready for dispatch. Moreover, an automated finishing process will guarantee a uniform quality.

Es war uns eine Freude, eine Delegation der Fa. Foton in unserem Hause begrüßen zu dürfen. Foton ist einer der größten Automobilhersteller der Welt, welcher u.a. seit Jahren Kooperationen mit Automobilherstellern wie Daimler unterhält und zukünftig eine komplett neue Gießerei mit KW-Anlagentechnik betreiben wird.
Am 09. November 2012 und am 12. November 2012 fand die erste Vorabnahme unseres Anlagen-Equipments statt.
In Alfeld wurden der Sandkühler und der Wirbelmischer abgenommen, während die Abnahme der automatischen Gießmaschine in unserem Werk in der Schweiz erfolgte.
