Dimensional accuracy in casting production by:
Pattern Blowing:
Blowing of pattern and pattern plate takes place prior to the lifting into filling position
Pattern Spraying:
Spraying takes place when the mould package has been lifted to the filling position
Filling:
- Filling by means of the filling device transferred to the compaction and pattern draw station
- Weight-dependent dosage by means of load cells
- Uniform filling into the filling device by means of guide plates and a sand distributor flap
- Pattern-dependent filling by controlled opening of the hopper discharge shutters
Compaction:
- one-stage or two-stage compaction
- process AIRPRESSplus 2000
- TWINPRESS possible
- controlled and adjustable airflow intensity to ensure an optimum pre-compaction close to the pattern contour and at critical points
- active squeezing by a multi-piston squeeze head transferred to the compaction and lowering station, with separately adjustable squeeze force and squeeze time for the individual pressure circuits
Pattern Draw:
Pattern draw station with central and synchronised guide system for the lifting motion.
Pattern Changing:
Pattern changing takes place at the external position of the turntable. By means of a lifting table and the powered roller conveyors on the left and the right side of the lifting table a changing of pattern bolster including pattern within the cycle time is ensured.
Special features:
- all-hydraulic sealing of the moulding chamber by means of the synchronised lifting cylinders, thus avoiding wear on the contact surfaces
- low-maintenance design, good accessibility, with replaceable wear elements
- pre-tested sub-assemblies ensure shortest installation period and safe start-up
