CONTRACT with Skinest Rail and the Uzbek Railways
Contract signing ceremony for the implementation of the development of foundry equipment between Künkel-Wagner Prozesstechnologie GmbH, Skinest Rail and the Uzbek Railways.
Künkel-Wagner is pleased toinform about the signing of an impressive contract with SKINEST RAIL, an Estonian company serving the railway industry. Künkel-Wagner will deliver foundry equipment and machinery to support the Uzbekistan Railway company modernize their wagon manufacturing plant and thus improve the public infrastructure. This new investment will give the economy an impressive impulse; a further demonstration of Künkel-Wagners’ commitment to meet market and customer demands.
CONTRACT with Sichuan Mianyang Haosheng Auto-Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Künkel-Wagner is happy to announce the signing of an important contract with Sichuan Mianyang Haosheng Auto-Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd. at the GIFA 2011.
Künkel-Wagner Prozesstechnologie GmbH is proud to supply an automatic moulding plant (flask size 1.450 × 1.100 mm), moulding machine type DFM using the AIRPRESSpllus 2000 compaction process plus a pouring machine type PUMA 25 to one of the largest automotive foundries in China. Sichuan Mianyang Haosheng Auto-Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a nationally and internationally respected supplier of first-class automotive components, with an expanding business strategy.
The decision-making for a long-term partnership was influenced by the fact that Künkel-Wagner Prozessstechnologie GmbH is a well-known and experienced expert for moulding plants for high-quality jumbo castings.
CONTRACT signed with WeiChai Power Co., Ltd., Weifang, P.R. China for an automatic moulding plant
This is already the third! order for a moulding plant incl. pouring machine, rotary mixers and return sand coolers WeiChai Power Co., Ltd. has awarded to Künkel-Wagner over the recent years!
Flask size 1.450 x 1.100 x 400/ 400 mm, production rate 70 moulds/hour.
Complementary systems: 1 fully automatic pouring machine PUMA 25, 2 rotary mixers WM-160 and WM-180 as well as 2 return sand coolers ASK-180 and ASK-200

START-UP PHASE at Busch-Hungária
Fully automatic pouring machine PUMA 25 operated with a Künkel-Wagner moulding plant at Busch-Hungária in Györ/Hungary, ladle capacity 2.000 kg, incl. weighing system, Sensor Scan and KW-SLS inoculation device COBRA. The commissioning phase has been finalized. Currently, the pouring machine is near start-up.
Advantages: For the two main products a weight reduction of >15% has been achieved.
